Ingwersen & Lansdown solicitors have a combined total of over 160 years legal experience.

Ingwersen & Lansdown employs twenty four staff across a range of legal fields. The firm prides itself on experience, client service and competitive pricing.

Anthony (Tony) Ingwersen

Founding Partner (12/5/1946 to 15/3/2017)

Tony was admitted as a solicitor in 1972 and inaugurated Ingwersen & Associates in 1974.    After long and meritorious service, Tony passed away in 2017 after a long battle with illness.   He is sorely missed by all.


David Ingwersen


David Ingwersen joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 1977.   David is involved in surf lifesaving and fund raising for local schools.


David Lansdown


David Lansdown joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 1980.   David’s two main practice areas are NSW conveyancing and Wills and Estates.   David is involved in community activities on the Gold Coast and is the honorary solicitor for a number of Gold Coast based bodies.


Brett Lansdown


Brett has degrees in both Law and Land Surveying and joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 1997.   In recent years he has been in charge of conveyancing including handling mortgage transactions for clients.   Brett is involved with water polo at local and state level.


Rosemary Neal


Rosemary Neal is now a consultant to the Wills & Estates Division of Ingwersen & Lansdown.  Rosemary commenced her legal studies in London England many years ago.  On moving to Australia she was admitted as a solicitor with honours in 1996.

Rosemary is the honorary solicitor of Solace, an association formed to assist individuals after the loss of their partner.   Rosemary is also a trustee of the Big Hearts Foundation which is a charity formed to assist families in difficult times.


Luke Berrigan


With degrees in both Law (Hons) and International Business, Luke Berrigan joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 2010 and was made a partner in late 2012.  Luke previously worked for an international law firm but now exclusively practices in Queensland property law transactions, providing legal advice to property developers, builders, companies and individuals who buy and sell property.  Luke can also assist you with retirement village advice, as he often acts for people moving into and out of retirement villages.


Nicholai Poulson


Nicholai joined the Ingwersen & Lansdown’s Wills and Estates team in 2014 having previously established himself as a lawyer in a small legal firm in NSW.

Nicholai’s expertise lies in the field of Wills, Testamentary Trusts, Powers of Attorney and administering Estates of deceased persons.   He is very willing to support and advise clients to reduce the stress and anxiety surrounding the passing of loved ones.


Nicole Ainger


Nicole joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 2014.    Having completed her Bachelor of Law degree in 2012, she is now employed as a solicitor specialising in the areas of Queensland Cottage Conveyancing, Wills, Testamentary Trusts and Powers of Attorney.


Morgan Reid


Morgan joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 2015, having previously worked in a Brisbane firm.    Morgan obtained her Bachelor of Law (Honours)  and Bachelor of Business degrees at Griffith University in 2014.   She is now working with us in the Property Department, focusing in Qld cottage conveyancing as well as assisting clients moving into Retirement Villages and Nursing Homes.



Office Manager

Janine Attwood-Graham joined Ingwersen & Lansdown In January 2015.   She has extensive experience in administration and Business Management and in her past life was a Prosecutor for the New Zealand Police for over 11 years.    Having brought her skills to Queensland she now keeps at I&L in line!




Brea joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in early 2020, taking over for the well known and loved Marilyn. Brea directs calls and opens contracts for the conveyancing department. She brings a welcoming energy to the firm.



Justine joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 2020 replacing Karla. She assists in opening contracts and directing calls.  Justine’s lively personality brings joy to the firm.



Kim joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 1980. Kim is a paralegal working in the areas of Cottage and Retirement Village conveyancing in Queensland. Kim’s favourite beverage is Semillon Savignon Blanc.



Julie joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 1986. Julie is a paralegal attending to the probate applications and the administration of deceased estates in both Queensland and New South Wales.

Karen P


Karen joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 1992.    Karen is a paralegal working in the areas of Queensland Leasing and Cottage conveyancing.



Katrina joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 1994.  Katrina is a paralegal working in the areas of Cottage, Developer and Retirement Village conveyancing in Queensland.  Katrina enjoys a glass of Johnny Walker!


Accounts Officer

Tania joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 2019 taking over the offices accounts duties. Tania is now the firm’s chief Accounts Officer.



Helen joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 2007 working as a  Conveyancing Paralegal. In 2009 Helen moved to the firm’s Wills and Estates department as a paralegal attending to probate applications and the administration of deceased estates in both Queensland and New South Wales as well as the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney.   She also under-studies Tania as Accounts Officer.



Judy joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 2012 as a Queensland Commercial property and Cottage Conveyancing paralegal.   Judy has had 30 years of experience in the fields of Banking and Finance and Conveyancing.

Karen A


Karen joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in March 2013 as a Conveyancing Paralegal.      Karen has had 25 years’ experience in the legal industry, mainly  in Cottage Conveyancing.



Jacqueline joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 2014 as a Conveyancing Paralegal.   Jacqueline has had 25 years’ experience in the legal industry mainly in Conveyancing with exposure in the Planning and Environment, banking and finance areas of that field.



Jodie originally joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 2010 as a paralegal working in the areas of Queensland Cottage and Commercial property Conveyancing as well as Qld and NSW business transactions.    She has been on maternity leave and has returned to assist our Conveyancing Department on a part-time basis.



Tamieka joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 2015 in a part-time capacity assisting our other paralegals in the Conveyancing Department.



Courtney joined Ingwersen in May 2015 as a Conveyancing paralegal.   Courtney has 16 years of experience working in Legal, mainly in the areas of commercial and residential conveyancing.    She is studying law in her spare time.



Kirra joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in 2015 as a conveyancing paralegal.   Previously Kirra had 3 years experience in conveyancing and in 2012 completed an Associate Degree in Law through Southern Cross University. She is currently away on Maternity leave taking care of a new family addition.



Sarah is one of the newest additions to our team taking on Kirra’s work whilst she is away. Sarah has 8 years of experience in the legal industry, mainly in Qld conveyancing.



Jade joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in early 2013 as our office Junior.  In 2014 she was promoted to Settlement and Lodgement Clerk and relieving receptionist.    In 2015 she was promoted again to a secretary assisting our Estates Department and is currently a Paralegal working in the Wills department.   A rising star!



Laura joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in late 2015 as our Office Junior.   She was rapidly promoted to our Settlement and Lodgement Clerk and was recently promoted in 2018 to a Junior Paralegal in the Conveyancing department.


Junior Paralegal

Emma joined Ingwersen & Lansdown in early  2016 as our new Office Junior replacing Laura.  Emma was promoted in 2017 to our settlements and lodgements clerk and has recently been promoted to a Junior Paralegal role assisting Nicole and Jade in the Wills & Estates department, whilst maintaining sterling service in reviewing and maintaining our safe custody records


Settlements & Lodgements Clerk

Jess joined Ingwersen & Lansdown late 2017 as our office junior taking over from Emma. She was promoted in late 2019 to our Settlements & Lodgements Clerk as well as assisting our Conveyancing Department whenever she has a spare moment. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Law in her spare time.


Office Junior

Chandelle joined our office in 2020 as our new office junior replacing Jess. She is our mail, banking and archiving clerk and general “go-fer” for all Departments, assisting in reception, settlements and the Paralegals with small jobs in her spare moments.
